INTERIOR DESIGN-ARTE CAMPUS

ANKARA TÜRKİYE - 2008
ABOUT

The Arte Health Campus project was started with a demand to transform and add additional spaces to Arte Clinic building that had been already constructed in 2008. By adding the next three parcels to the that of clinic, the boundries of the campus was formed. Arte Health Campus consists of four building blocks one of which is reserved for the administration and the rest for the hospital. The capacity of the hospital is 75 beds.

The rising brick wall in the front facades of all blocks is the main element of the design. The principles used in the design of the facade of the clinic building has been kept and the resulting rhythm of the repetition is appreciated. The warmth of ageless brick represents the essence of the project in this renewed campus conditions.

Since the blocks in parcels can not be joined in the ground level, they share a common basement. In addition to this, connecting bridges is planned at the first floor levels. All the buildings have 5 floors consisting of 2 basement, one ground, one normal floor and a roof floor at the the top. The function of the one of the blocks reserved for the geriatrics has changed to a school in the process.

The construction of Arte administration block has finished in 2015 and it is in use by then. The construction of health blocks is still continuing.
